How can the name be coloured?

I want to know how to colour the name of an item si ingame it appears coloured. (I've tried (in version 1.07) but the |c00... code appeared)

Bear in mind you have to open and close the colour tags:

colorcode+word+close

For red Whitehorn:

Color Names

I tested this out by doing these actions:
1. i created a new unit
2. unit base was peasant
3. i named it peasant
4.when it was done loading and and all of the options showed up, i went to the bottom and changed" text - name Peasant " to "text - name |cFF009988Peasant|r"

(It was a RANDOM color code, but its a cool tealish color )

I tested the map and the peasants name was: Peasant

I went into my world editor , clicked on scenario, map description and looked at the bottom left, mine said map version:8

If yours is below that, that may be why.

It comes with Chaos spectrum (AMAZING COLOR CODE GENERATOR)
