Hellooo nurse! Uhh.. I mean, Hive Workshop!
I stumbled upon this site by actually reading the Loading screen text on my favorite Warcraft 3 custom game: Tribe Wars. A few buds and I have played it quite often and I got the idea to make a Tribewars-esque map of my own, With a different story, races and almost everything else, but I wanted it to have that same AoS/RPG/arena feel that Tribe Wars has... The only issue is that I have no clue what I am doing when it comes to triggers, adding weapons to attatchment points, things like that. In terms of modding... I have only dabbled. It's fun to mod, but I have never really created anything of use, just a few "For Fun." mods. I am proud of the mods to an extent but they are sloppy compared to the jaw-dropping quality of most of the models and skins on this site.
I have been playing WC3 since it came out and played WC2 before that as a deranged little kid that liked to rampage through human towns with masses of grunts. I used to play WoW pretty actively, and recognize a few models and skins used in some WC3 games as units from WoW, I am interested in learning how to do that, since knowing how to do that would help me in my venture to make a NE vs. Tauren game. I have been reading alot of the tutorials but I have yet to test anything out.
Again, Hello Hive! Also.... Teach me, I suck!
(I apologize for the rant-style essay.)
