Just got back to a trip memory down lane to an old game and found something i wish i can implement to my map, lo and behold Frost Tower! It's attack uses the icicle around it by dropping them down, releasing waves of ice explosion in a straight direction and damaging anything that is caught with...

Even the basic models like "watchtowers" don't have attack animations

This tower looks like it belongs to the beast tribe, but the beast tribe does not have such impractical buildings.

I saw some animation in a video, where Icycles fly around the tower and fall down. I can look into adding that.
