My journey through bird retexturing continues, sparked by Deepstraz on my Seagulls bundle. This one is completely freehanded over a recolored base of the Blizzard bird doodad texture, and is suitable for Outland or other alien/demonic settings. If you wish to use it with the bats doodad, which will give it a slightly different shape, and want it visible rather than dark, you can use BatsClear.mdx found in my bats bundle.
Credit is appreciated but not required.
Update: made a very slight but important edit on the teeth so their teeth don't look like they're sitting in the middle of gums. Single pixels makes a lot of difference.
This is a really neat idea. However, I feel it looks a bit too exotic, like more for jungles or something. That green doesn't really stand well IMO with the Draenor theme although, I get it might represent fel or whatever.

I get what you're saying. My initial vision did have more muted colours, but when I sat down and started making it these just felt right. The body colour was inspired by the Eredar, and the bright green wasn't consciously representing fel energy but I do associate demons in Warcraft 3 with bright green.
I found The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy coming to mind during the creative process, where demons were brightly coloured and psychedelic, and I wanted to bring some of that bright weirdness in. Also it helps make something small and fast moving discernible to the player instead of blending into the background, so overall I stand by them. Thanks for your feedback though! And I would be delighted if these were used for an alien jungle map.
