Controlling Experience Sharing

I am wondering whether it's possible to disable exp share between allies? I have a map with 2 teams (controlled by the players) and a couple teams of NPCs (who are set to treat the players as Allies). However, during an event, there is a neverending stream of enemies attacking the computer player, whose units are tough enough to last through it forever.
Now, as the players move about with their heroes, they are gaining exp that is shared from the Ally NPC killing the enemy NPCs. I want to disable this, so that the heroes only gain exp from their own kills, or the kills of their partner hero.
