I'm making a new map that will involve the entertaining sport "Zug Zug."

I want the players to be able to increase or decrease their run speed on the fly using abilities - how fast they are running will affect their "energy" (mana)

your mana will decrease slowly if you are running fast and increase slowly if you are walking. Is there a GUI mechanic to set the mana regeneration of a unit? I can't seem to find one. Also - can mana regeneration be set to a negative value?

I can think of two ways of possibly achieving this:

Set the units base mana regeneration to X.
And then make dummy abilities with X% more or less regeneration and give it to the unit.

Or you could setup how much regeneration each point of intelligence grants the unit and modify the regeneration by adding / removing intelligence.

Sounds good, dummy abilities seems to be the way to go. Thanks for the help.

Any word on whether mana regen can be negative?
