You'd be better off having the model based off the book char because the movie was not like the book at all. That and the book char is much much cooler then will smith will ever be

I love ash and im makeing a map loosly based off it...As for I Am legend I hope to see it it looks pretty good but i dont see any good map being based off of it (unless just loosley, which u wouldnt need an will smith model for. Cant you just settle for villager male tinted black? lol
