I have to say that the background seems to blend quite a bit with the actual bow, especially at certain areas. The colors seem too similar.
Perhaps having a stronger outline of the bow or changing the colors of the bow and/or the background might do the trick.
I am no artist, so I am not quite sure what the right approach should be, so take my suggestions with a grain of salt.
