That doesn't really look like a troch this just looks like an undefined black thing.

You need to add more highlights/shading in-order too give it a log type shape too it. Also, make some wooden gravings in the wood would be nice too.

Please! Look at some reference pictures! Torches do NOT look like that. They are pretty much a cylinder and covered with hemp/cloth dipped in a flammable substance at the top. I like the usefulness but you really need to make it torchlike.
