Zoom in and show us more the blade and handle, also, define it more, its too dark atm.

I agree and try to create a soft background to let the outside lines of the drawing more defined.

To add towards this, i would either make some effects going around the sword, or if it is a shadow sword because its purple i would make purple swirls going around it, with purple and light purple sparks spitting around it.
