The icon has a pretty nice base, but it's in dire need of improvements.

First of all you really have to zoom in. :]
On the next steps; work on giving more volume, shading, definition and lineart. Define the shapes with black lines. Grant the icon a bit of living colors. Currently the anatomy is a bit off/akward. Add some face expression, eyebrow lines, wrinkles, etc.
