Maybe you could clean those up, it looks odd also at first it was an arrow but when I read the description it is actually a sword.

the teals rays are suposed to be lighting bolts XD. I can't modify it for now.

I appreciate that u tried to draw something from scratch.
And i encourage u to continue to do so. But, in order to succeed, u have to learn certain things.
I think u've already realized that ur icons aren't of approvable quality.
They need more work.
U need to define ur objects properly.
Choose a suitable color palette.
There must be a source of light, so, add shadows and highlights.
I would advise u to read some tutorials and practice.
Here u can find sufficient material that might help u:
2D Art Tutorials, Art Tutorials/Books/etc.
