Looks ok, but you should really use a different program (like GIMP). If you can make icons like that in Paint, you'll make even better ones with a better program.
And yes, fire can be blue (or other colours for that matter). Depends on the substance that burns. ^^

Or you could just be playing Warcraft.

On-topic, the fire looks like it needs a lot more love. You need to make it a bit more detailed- small flames coming off the sides,ect,ect, less like a blob of jelly.
(Because that's what my twisted mind thinks it looks like.)
