Its good for your first but, the definition of this is lacking. The effects and the lines around the stars liner need to be fixed. Take away the lines or whatever that is around the star then add a light glow around the star, either yellow or white glow.

I would make the star smaller and put it in the upper left corner, and put smaller stars around it like a star dust or something, also I would make it more orange(looks more natural that way).

Ok first of all thank you all for your advises, i try to make the improvements as soon as possible. And the stardust is a really nice idea Berz =). Oh sorry i almost forgot to show you a wip...

I tried my best fixing the icon. I removed the those lines from the star and fixed the right hands. Also i did waht Berz said and added some small stars + star dust... Well here´s the result:

Thank you too for your advise, but i´m still new to icon making and i don´t really undestand what you mean with style and scheme...

It's happened to me. Took me forever to realize what it was. I think it has something to do with the compression on the icon when converting it. It happens though, believe it.

And why the hell would anyone rework the concept of an icon? Why not just make a new icon? duh.
