enjoy: The icon is just one shape. Doesn't look much like a shield. Too bright, and It lacks diffinition, highlights and shading. You can go to http://deviantart.com and search for tutorials on many subjects. I suggest that you do that to improve, and then try uploading icons later on, when you get a hang of photoshop drawing.
