If he is coming from the darkness maybe make the brownish texture a little more darker instead of what you have now. Also, it looks like the brown texture is the creatures fur of some sort, fix that problem also.

Tried as best as possible. But I still can not create an icon 100% warcraft-ish =/

Looks pretty good now, i would brighten up his face a bit with highlights. Or, you chould make his eyes glowing like a hyena in the dark.

Looks okay, the title doesnt fit it tho, should be like summon mummy or something, 4/5
