Quest - Create a Required quest titled Basic Gameplay with the description Welcome to Halo Wars RTS [Real-Time-Strategy]. You play as one of four distinct races: The Brutes, UNSC, Covenant, or Flood and your goal is to eliminate all enemy players. Early Pressure - Many players are a fan of this tactic which consists of training units and sending them very early into the enemy's base to maim any workers or cause damage to his structures. This can be countered with turrets or a counter attack of your own but do not take this strategy for granted, it has game-ending potential.Choke Points - Use Choke Points to your advantage, build turrets or station units to guard them. It is far harder for races such as the Brutes or Flood to get a surround with their melee units.Infinity Abilities&Heroes - If you are playing the UNSC, build a UNSC Ship Control center as soon as possible. This allows you to gain access to the warship Infinity which is deep in orbit around the planet. It provides four devestating abilities to use at your leisure. If you are playing the Brutes or Covenant, build a Gravity Lift and train your Hero quickly. If you are facing a mirror and the enemy has a Hero but you do not, you are in trouble. , using icon path ReplaceableTextures\WorldEditUI\Editor-Random-Unit.blp

Quest - Create a Required quest titled Advanced Gameplay with the description Scouting - Scouting is crucial to having a successful match. Every race has a specific unit suited to the role of scouting which is built inside your main worker facility.Supplies - As soon as you can try and secure any Supplies near your base. They provide extra resources which is needed to put on pressure or make some of those costly units/buildings. [Only Heroes or Scouting units such as Ghosts or Warthogs can pick up supplies.]Radar Centers - Radar Centers are tactical buildings which provide you with key information on enemy troop movements for a modest price in resources. Secure these as soon as possible so you always know what the enemy is doing. , using icon path ReplaceableTextures\WorldEditUI\Editor-Random-Unit.blp

Quest - Create a Optional quest titled UNSC with the description Difficulty: ModerateThe UNSC are a versatile race relying on mixed units and micromanagement. They require an active role in harassing, base management, and use of devastating abilities such as MAC Strike or Emergency Heal in combination with their armies. As they have no Hero it is crucial to know when to use an Infinity ability and when to save it. They have the weakest structures in the game but powerful upgrades to balance this. Their units are situational, meaning you must use certain counters for certain races. (Such as using Firebats to deal with flood melee units). Use the Base's quick build time to take as many ore mines in the early to mid-game as you can. Use your equipment shop and buy items to help thwart enemy attacks. , using icon path ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNVillagerMan1.blp

Quest - Create a Optional quest titled Brutes with the description Difficulty: HardThe Brutes are the strongest race in the game and the most costly. Fielding any army of sufficient size will take an abundant amount of resources and power. However, their Hero has the most game changing abilities between all of the races except, perhaps, the UNSC. Using your Hero is crucial when playing the Brutes as he is your life line. If it dies the time it takes to revive him could cost you the match. Many new players often use their Chieftan in reserve but do not make this mistake, be aggressive and wreak havoc with him. , using icon path ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNHellScream.blp

Quest - Create a Optional quest titled Covenant with the description Difficulty: First TimeIf you are new to Halo Wars we reccommend you start out with this race. They are balanced when it comes to resource and power cost, their units are tough, and they have the most efficient upgrades/technologies between all of the races. They also have a choice between Two Heroes instead of one and a superweapon known as the Scarab which is costly in both power and resources but very powerful. This race's mechanics are easy to grasp and are user friendly. , using icon path ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNHallOfTheDead.blp

Quest - Create a Optional quest titled Flood with the description Difficulty: ModerateThe Flood is a tricky race to master, not as difficult as the Brutes but more than the UNSC or the Covenant. It's units are mostly ground based melee attackers and almost all their structures are living units with Heavy Armor. This race's units and buildings are all very cheap and construct quickly, however, they are weak. You MUST micro and macro flawlessly and know when to sacrifice an army and when to retreat. Spend your resources on anything you can, do Not let it build up. The other races are 2x - 4x more powerful than you when it comes to hit points, you need every advantage you can get. , using icon path ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNGhoul.blp

Quest - Create a Optional quest titled Tactics & Strategies with the description [Refraction] I notice the UNSC is very vulnerable against early rushes. Putting up a few Anti-Infantry Turrets toward the start of the game can be a great help.[TL)Manic] Brutes have a hard time with upgrades, everything costs heavy amounts of resources and fueling any army worth a damn while trying to research is almost impossible. Try capturing and holding control points as soon as possible. I use the Shade a lot as it has high damage output and armor.[Silver_physics] <---Huge fan of the Flood race. Sending thirty or so infection forms mixed with carriers is not only fun to do but also hilarious. I see a lot of players go down from this. Easy fix! Throw some Firebats at them, counter with flesh mounds, brute chieftan, or a wraith. , using icon path ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNSorceressMaster.blp

Quest - Create a Required quest titled AI System with the description The AI system is not fully developed for Halo Wars. Project Leader SIlver_Physics is currently working on an updated Halo Wars RTS AI system that is far more advanced than any generated by the WC3 World Editor. Improved Software and handling will allow the AI to assess how skilled you are by judging your WC3 Ladder Stats, APM, and Reaction Time. It will be required to scout your base , not just "know" where you are located.
