Black Metal Dark, tempered metal plating with bright-gold outlines cover the tower from base to top. A menacing red crystal on the top is a part of a complicated aim assistance system - a goblin lazer pointer. Is this a goblin tower or a Black Legion keep? While it's not actually black and gold, that's kind of the point. But I think the resemblance is there ^^
Rocket Bastion Reinforced over and over, surrounded by layers of defence, this tower turned into a stronghold, able to launch special super-heavy goblin rockets called "Mammoths". Ironically, bastions like these are often built in places inhabitated by mammoths, and are designed to fight them off efficiently. The base with spikes that you see near the bottom of the icon was inspired by the base of the Goblin Observatory and orkish Spike Upgrades ^^
Juggernaut This threatening design instills fear into enemies, unfamiliar with goblin technology. The rocket launcher was upgraded into a magazine-fed system, meaning rockets can now be seamlessly loaded in and fired in a semi-automatic style. This variation makes the tower look almost like a creature, and was inspired (partially) by the turtle pack I did - The Turtle Lair.
Sentry-GX Armed to the brim, this combat complex can both intimidate the enemy and create an instand barrage of suppressing fire, attacking numerous targets at once. The main downside is and insredibly slow cooldown, since all of the rocket slots need to be recharged after every attack. Yeah, I know, all of those rockets on the last one look like two eyes and a gigantic amount of teeth. I created a monster xD
Rhino Tower Horns on the top are the main way to detect a Rhino class goblin sentry. These towers posess special hidden launchers, that can be retracted of covered up at any moment. Previously known as "Kodo Towers", these models were upgraded to reduce their overall size and increase firepower. You might have spotted a smaller horn in the back - this tower class actually has two fronts! No one is safe... |
