This is my first ever icon that I've made (and attempted for that matter) and uploaded to the hive. I created it for a map project that I'm currently making. All I made was the BTN and DIS
It's supposed to fit a torch attachment in the models section for when you use a torch as an item. I guess you could use it as a fire wand or something like that if you wanted too.
I imported it into my map to see if I had done everything right and it looked alright... Well good enough for me.
If it's bad feel free to give me some constructive criticism, I'm still learning!
If you like it feel free to edit it to your will. Enjoy!

This looks too much like the normal WoW torch Icon
NOTE I am NOT accusing evil redneck of CnP, I am just stating that he should try another style of a torch.
Maybe something like the Oblivion torches? (wrapped hemp like material on think wood)

The reason I made it like this was because I needed it to fit the torch doodad in Warcraft 3. The WoW icon wasn't what I wanted so I made this one.

What you need is highlights on the wooden part, I would also variate the colour of the glow, maybe some bright orange, too.

Maybe add little more glow to refer to warmth and light.

The sharp lines of the background are kinda weird. Darker colors of it may look more spooky. I like the sparks, glow emission and fire, even it looks kinda artificial.
