the shading is perfect, but it looks like a block of metal wich was intended to use as a sword, but has been decorated with so much metal that its now more a club. the blade is 4 times bigger than the handle (wich is the only part of the sword that looks sharp). Try making the blade thinner and sharper and draw these decorations on the handle.
