This update features numerous changes to make the experience more accurate to the initial release of the Warcraft III Reign of Chaos Beta.

Heroes
- Players can now build duplicate hero types.
- Polymorph kills air units. They turn into a sheep that does not fly and instead falls to its death.
- Wind Walk no longer allows the Blademaster to walk through units.
- Carrion Swarm now targets buildings but no longer targets air units.
- Dreadlord's primary attribute is now Intelligence.
- Raise Dead autocast is now on by default.
- The maximum skeleton cap from Raise Dead has been removed.
- Banshees now leave corpses.
- Wisp Heal autocast is now on by default.
- Mana Burn no longer deals damage.
- Dryads no longer receive armor or attack upgrades.
- Tree Of Life / Entangle Gold Mine
- The first Gold Mine that a player entangles in a game will begin harvesting at the maximum rate (10 gold per second), after an initial 4-second delay from when the Entangle Gold Mine ability is cast. In addition to being more accurate to the WC3 RoC Beta, this fixes the Night Elves having an unintentionally slow economic start.
- In the actual WC3 RoC Beta, the Tree of Life begins the game uprooted, and walks over to the mine and roots before entangling and harvesting from the mine. The aforementioned 4-second delay simulates the time this process took.
- The player's subsequent entangled Gold Mines are unchanged. They begin with an initial harvesting interval of 10 seconds, which gradually decreases over a span of 60 seconds until it becomes 1 second (the maximum rate).
- Frost Wyrm's Freezing Breath ability pauses harvesting.
- Players that the owner of the tree has full-shared control with can see the floating +X gold text.
- Ancients
- Uproot / Root is instant. This means that ancients can be issued move or build orders immediately after the Uproot / Root ability is cast.
- Night Elf AI players will produce less Wisps, which should reduce cases of them supply-blocking themselves.
- Zeppelins unload instantly.
- Units killed in a Zeppelin no longer leave corpses or show death animations.
- Forest Troll High Priest's Barkskin autocast is now on by default instead of Heal.
- Tree health decreased, 50 -> 40. This means that trees will be consumed faster.
- Canopy tree (bigger tree, don't think they're used in melee?) health increased, 50 -> 100.

Human
- Peasant "Can't build there" sound now depends on the player's selected race.
- Summon Water Elemental uses its beta effect.
- Invisibility effect appears over the target's head.
- Gyrocopters use their Reign of Chaos model.
- Gyrocopters use their beta attack impact effect.
- Steam Tanks use their beta attack sound.
- Barracks uses its beta skin (different flags).
- Mage Tower has a second glow while working.
- Chain Lightning uses its beta effect.
- Catapults use their Reign of Chaos portrait.
- Bloodlust increases the size of the unit's model by 130%, up from 30%. Blizz changed it to 30% in Beta 1.03. To be authentic to Beta 1.00, and because it's hilarious, I put it back to 130%.
- Bloodlust effect appears correctly even when zoomed out.
- Raiders use their beta death sound.
- Kodo Beasts use the Creep version of the Devour icon.
- Use the beta Console UI (slightly yellow tint).
- Death Coil uses its beta effect.
- Death Pact uses its beta effect.
- Animate Dead uses its beta effect.
- Carrion Swarm uses its beta effect.
- Vampiric Aura uses its beta effect. In the real 1.00 beta, units under Vampiric Aura play the "Slow" sound effect every time they attack. I didn't include this because it was annoying and confusing. The 1.03 beta removes this sound anyway, likely for the same reason.

- Necromancers use their beta missile.
- Fixed missing text on the Skeleton Warriors' timer bar.
- Unholy Frenzy uses its beta effect.
- Curse uses its beta effect.
- Anti-Magic Shell uses its beta effect.

- Frost Wyrms use their beta missile.
- Corrected the Ubertip on Freezing Breath.
- Graveyards use the beta GraveMarker model.
- Uses the beta "Create more Moon Wells" sound.
- Wisps use the beta lumber harvest effect.
- Removed Wisps' exploding effect when using Detonate.
- Tranquility uses its beta effect.
- Priestess of the Moon Sentinel uses the beta Owl model.
- Starfall uses its beta effect.
- Huntress Scout uses the beta Owl model. With this model, when it reaches its target, it appears to move in a circle instead of spazzing out.
- Dryads use their beta skin and portrait.
- Chimaeras use their beta lightning attack effect.
- Tree of Ages and Eternity no longer have "Upgrade" animation tags. That is to say, their model doesn't change its appearance when upgraded.
- Moon Wells no longer show a "healing" effect on the user.
- Fixed missing Ancient Protector birth animation.
- Ancient Protector weapon now appears as a missile (Beta 1.00), instead of only appearing on the target (Beta 1.03).
- Ancient of Wind uses its beta portrait.
