Eterne Strategic Conflict | ESC Battle Arena

This project is a custom Warcraft III map in the Aeon of Strife / MOBA genre. It features 5v5 team-based gameplay where players choose between two opposing factions. Forte System, a unique mechanic that introduces class-based resistances and weaknesses, adds a dynamic layer of depth and strategy to hero selection and combat. The map supports both multiplayer and single-player modes, with fully functional AI support.

Class Advantage System (Forte System)

Every hero falls into a distinct class, each with defined strengths, weaknesses, and responsibilities in battle. Mastery comes not just from skill, but from knowing when and how to engage.

Each role follows a weakness-resistance dynamic:

  • Strikers > Casters
  • Casters > Defenders
  • Defenders > Strikers
  • Rovers deal balanced damage to all, but excel against neutral objectives
    (At the cost of taking more damage from unit forces)

Hero Classes

Each hero belongs to a specialized class, defining their playstyle and battlefield impact:

Defender Classes
  • Bastion – Immovable tanks built to absorb massive damage and anchor team fights
  • Interceptor – Defensive disruptors that protect allies and interrupt enemy aggression

Striker Classes
  • Ranger – Precision attackers that deal sustained damage from a safe distance
  • Assassin – High-risk, high-reward killers that eliminate key targets instantly

Caster Classes
  • Mage – Burst damage spellcasters capable of devastating enemies in seconds
  • Sage – Strategic casters focused on control, utility, and team empowerment

Rover Class
  • Hunter – Adaptive specialists who excels off-lane dungeon explorations and objective dominance
