Hey man, glad to see you and thanks for writing me.
Not bad here man, cant wait for this shitty weather to fade away. Its cloudy and windy for days already. Until recently we had regular rains, very depressive time. Otherwise, its not bad. What about you?

I used to shock southerners in the Krasnodar by my love to cold weather, I was wearing less clothes and never getting sick in windy days and sometimes getting a lot of attention because of it, because I was been unable to handle temperature there, sweating like a horse. There was climate close to Mediterranean. I notice that for me southern winter felt harsher than one in Siberia. in Krasnodar, cold weather painful for bones and skin in the way I never expirienced in Siberia, even when temperature was warmer, maybe from the different humidity. Locals was blaming the cold winds from the Black sea.

Well, we finally get out of the Krasnodar, "Most european, peaceful, and democrtatic land in the world" flooded borders with drones, all airports in Krasnodar been closed, so we was been 3 days on the train to Tomsk, with cats and stuff. Train moving trought Volgograd, Kazakhstan, It was been hot on the train until we reached Ural.

Damn, after 5 years wasted in Kuban region, it was so satisfying to return to Ural-Siberia climate, the air was cold and fresh, dry brown steppes changed on snowy one, that looked beautiful. And there was also in part of Ural under Kazakhstan, there was patches of snow and sand deserts, and birch trees, thats all looked weird, interesting while mixed together. Some big, old man said that his relative used to work in one of the villages of North Kazakhstan, and all villages are ethnically Russian, despite Soviet indigenization policy. Then we seen a lot of good and bad things in Ural and Siberia. Big, modern cities, modern factories, villages that abandoned in Siberian Steppe in 1920-2010, old industrial buildings in Chelyabinsk, pre-revolutionary architecture, since Trans-Siberian Railway was the project of Saint Tsar Nicolai II, there was a lot of old imperial buildings, depots, stations, water towers.
