Btw, I recently tried to make a model of a gnoll warrior for the role of the main character in my campaign, I tried to recreate Mephestrial's Hero Gnoll Alpha model. But, tbh, I'm not very good at converting creatures models yet (sorry for the link on pastebin, I haven't figured out how to attach pictures yet):

Tbh, I once tried to convert creatures from Dragonflight and everything seemed to be going well, but in mdlvis when I tried to edit animations I always got an error. In general, everything looked +- fine in the game and in the WE, but some animations... they looked really creepy..... So for now I'm trying to understand the creature conversion in more detail

Update: Alright so atm I am too noob with Retera and I couldn't convert the model to SD use

So I went and ported the Hogger model from WoW, I see the problems you were referring to, the animations are all ok, but the vertices (those small dots are not attached to the correct bones, also some bones are not attached correctly to other bones..)

In like 10 minutes I was able to make the right* arm fully functional: screenshot below
