what do you mean change my mind? I'm lacking a bit of context here

if you want a review of your work it's basically this: learn to balance intruments better so it more emulates the oldschool MIDI file sound.
like listen to a certain part of a track, and then compare to one of the more common MIDI soundcards (I personally compare to a soundblaster AWE 64) . and then adjust volume, velocity etc... according to how it sounds for you

but I'm not entirely certain what you mean anyway :D

oh I think I understand now

I don't hate the war1 music. but war1 still lacks emotional and rythmic rangerange, that's what I struggled with when the people who made the war2 in reforged mod approached me to make war1 music for their next war1 project.
I could ofc completly redesign it to my liking but it would result into something that is defnitly NOT war1 music anymore
that's why I didn't do it for them
I would have produced something not faithful to the original
so I am unfit for the job

just to make my point more clear regarding comparing the "modern" music with MIDI music
here is like the soundblaster AWE 64 version of my original music
vs the "modern" version
music is hard to put into words. I hope you can hear at this non-blizzard example of what I mean with "trying to emulate the MIDI music"

Hello. Yeah. That's what I was hoping for you to like the soundtrack more in realistic sounding :)
Sounds neat. Like both versions of your soundtrack.
Anyways, you could still give it a try and see if they would like your vision of the Orcs & Humans soundtrack.
