I dunno, given how hidden media is since the new Hive dropped, I don't REALLY see it as a public place when it is the private album of one of the people involved.

Yeah but it belongs to one of the people involved - user profiles are also available for public but I think non-english language discussions between the owner of the profile and third parties are still tolerated there.
