Tried it in Clasic and can't choose the difficulty.

Strange, but right now I play a v1.02 on classic graphics in WC3:R and everything works perferctly. I'll check it up anyway.

I chose the paladin hero after the cinematic intro and all units were paused and I got a message to choose the difficulty. No idea how. I wrote easy to test and the screen/camera became partially black.

After cinematic you control special "Choose your difficulty"-unit, so you need to press up a ability in that unit, choosing difficulty you want. Screen turned black because map readed your "easy" message as real and tried to change camera height to "easy" value
