Just use a model editor like Magos' or Retera's Model Studio. Or even more, just import it in the game.

Of course you can do that but adding it to Hive would a big gain of time and make it easier.

I don't see a real benefit. It's a luxury. Not saying it shouldn't be added if it's simple enough but otherwise it's not worth the time.
