Hey!
Long time no see. I finished highschool!
I had to tackle our university entrance exam, so i was really busy studying. It was really awful.
But now there's only half a month till i have to join university.
How are you?

I have also finished highschool, and am now in college. Right now it is the last day of my holiday break. College starts again tomorrow...

I am fine, hanging out with RACC homies and a bunch of new people most of the time in Discord. Also, finished my first college semester after a bunch of assignments and exams.

Having conquered my promoter job for three days straight, it was very tiring and exhaustive indeed. But quite eye-opening and made me feel better.

Am working on some Warcraft III campaign, Dunyoi Tortho (World of Cakes), loosely based on RACC lore with a bunch of new stuffs. Kind of struggling with it, though

Congratulations on your first job. It's good to develop your social skills.

It's nice to hear you have an active social life. I've been busy with tv, video games and music most of the time.

You could wait to make your campaign in the reforged version. And maybe work in a team, you cannot do everything by yourself.

Thanks a lot. But actually, aside from talking with Discord homies and making brief contact with customers, I did not have much social life. I find it quite hard to blend in.

I find it hard to relate and associate with my college classmates, the trendy male late teenagers/early adults that always talk dirty, play basketball etc. I also find out that I seem to struggle blending in with the Malaysian mainstream society, where they have a lot of street slangs derived from a huge variety of local languages, as well as their prevailing attitudes and norms.

I'll consider working on a team, and when I do, I'll try to look for you, Edge, Darko and Daffa.

Hmmmm but if I go for reforged version, some of the models wouldn't work unless Wc3 reforged lets me force the visuals to the classic one. Since most models I use, like crossbowers and many building models, are only available in classic wc3 visual style.

And it's good that you have a wider exposure to culture things like tv, games and musics. Besides games can train your brain skills. These stuffs also inspire and stimulate creativity. For me, however, I am very painfully slow at such areas, if not stagnant. Partly due to my laziness and busy schedule most of the time...

Although I did try to expand. Mythic introduced me some nice songs, and I tried to look for some good animes to watch. I also tried a very good Warcraft III custom campaign (not available in Hive) -- the Wanderers of Sorceria (4th Edition). A book series just like Legends of Arkain, but it's more anime-ish, Daffa-ish and also has far greater save-load stuffs that carry over between books. Like Wanderer's Journal Fragments and character stats (Books 1 and 2 being one set, Books 3, 4 and 5 being another set). And it's quite easy for a noob casual like me

I don't really blend in with my society as well, it's probably more fucked up than malaysia though. I don't have an instagram like almost everybody else does, my social medias empty. But i don't really care that much about that stuff, i'm more concerned about my own things. It's not good to be known as an outsider in a group but you don't really want to waste time for people and places you don't enjoy or benefit from. You don't really have to blend in, just don't be the outsider so everybody doesn't hate you.

I don't really think wc3 is really going to stand up to the reforged version, i mean people have been waiting for it like forever and you know it's 2019. Besides you can probably convert model file types.
I'd suggest you focus on your academics instead, it's probably your best shot at improving quality of life.

Maybe read some self development books or watch some related videos with the focus of putting the ideas into action?

You don't need to be going out with them all the time and become bffs but you need to be always capable of working with others.
It's a necessary skill.

Hmmmmm for me, it's more or less the same when it comes to not blending in well. But I also don't antagonize others, and has decent presentation skills and leadership skills when needed. My Facebook is most of the time inactive as fuck, and I don't even have an Instagram. I'm usually more concerned about my daydreams, readings and personal projects. I usually do not really force myself in when I don't really fit in.

Yeah, I might try to just convert some of the nice looking models, or perhaps infantry unit models plus wc3 soldier models, to Reforged while the buildings (and maybe units) use Reforged-quality if possible.

Yeah, atm I mostly put my attention on academics. Got a nice CGPA last semester, and was quite surprised.

Reading self-development books and videos? I'll have to conquer my laziness first lol and my somewhat fragile ego that's hesistant to hear what others have to say about my kind of lifestyle lel

Indeed, as long as I can socialize and collaborate and present, it's fine.
