I don't know what ideas you have. But you could mix the Icecrown and underground tileset in order to make some kind of fortress in the middle of some glacier. If you want some cool doodads try using https://www.hiveworkshop.com/threads/crystal-ice-cliff.232682/#resource-34383 it goes great with icecrown... just throwing some ideas out there ^^'
yeah this map was calling for snowy weather, I am looking others melee maps ice theme, the problem of the floating ice is that blocks path and my water parts are for walk so the wide area is only with fishes
I did that in 3 maps, Queen Hederine toxic domain, I converted water in some poisonous thing, Queen Sinestralis Fortress I converted it in black chasm, and Desert oil refineries I converted it in oil
Actually the ice floating was a good idea, I am using it small and with no pathing. When there is little to do to finish is when the desire to finish and upload is high
Cool. I thinks the terrain is the best part about map making. The items and creeps are a bit tedious sometime if you want to make it perfectly balenced in my opinion
yeah I place many specific doodads, like torches above pillars or skulls with height variation, also I copy paste customiced doodads from older maps to do faster
If one day you decide to use the alpha tile be careful because if one doodad is slightly underground it will completely disappear while ingame. then placing specific doodads can become maddening .
