I changed my mind. He does not deserve to have me read his source code. I have identified him as a malicious entity, whether the code he writes is or isn't. As of now, if it is indeed confirmed safe by multiple (trustworthy) people after so much time, I believe it to be safe.

Now you are free to support him further in his "I came here 2 troll yo" endeavors.

you wanted to see my source code? why? that was such a simple program.... hmm tell me more. @pyf do you know why he might have been interested?

The simplest of programs can carry the most devastating malware.

do you really think I would try spread malware? you do realise I could delete your whole computer from java and it would never flag your anti virus. spreading malware is childish. all I want to do is spread happiness and freedom

@HappyTauren:
It would seem that you are very... versatile, based on where the wind comes from. What I am asking you now is to please keep on helping THW, thanks to a very small and modest contribution on your part. Egos and personal opinions have nothing to do in this. Will you resist this call?

If, as you say, "the simplest of programs can carry the most devastating malware", and if you still keep inferring that there still might be malicious code somewhere and if that code has been uploaded here on THW, then it would be for the Greater Good that you review the source code yourself, as you initially wanted to.

In a post comment that you later deleted (officially for another reason), you said iirc that having Source code would be the only way to convince you. You did not mention any other source of information, be it trusted or not. Therefore imho, only you can truly convince yourself.

Again, now is the time to see for yourself whether or not the game is/has a "virus", since it is a word you used. It is also imho a fantastic opportunity to help THW, as an independent malware researcher. This is what I myself tried to do, without fear.

Remember, Darers are Winners.

... but maybe you are not up to the task?
XD

About that "Now you are free to support him further in his "I came here 2 troll yo" endeavors." sentence:
When the ban was lifted, I am guessing that the number of infraction points was reduced accordingly in the process. Therefore, his return was based on the laws of mathematics that are learned at the youngest age at school.

This should be an important lesson for you, then.

If MindWorX, someone who has a reputation for actually reverse engineering plenty of software in the past, can tell, that the software is safe, I don't need to bother with the source code. If there's someone on the staff who'd find faults, it's him. I also personally trust MindWorX, since we've collaborated in the past. As you know, at some point I stopped even caring whether TLOC's program was safe or not because 1) you harassed me to no end about it, as you continue to do (I am sure you're a very pleasant person) 2) I thought THW was better off without TLOC anyways, I don't need/have to prove anything, so in my pragmatic mindset, justice was second to my personal comfort 3) I find your particular brand of zealotry disgusting, since you absolutely disregarded the crux of the problem in your attempts to accomplish who knows what.

The whole ordeal literally started because I had no personal trust for @TheLordOfChaos201 (which is also why he was banned btw, not due to me, but due to most people on the staff not having any trust in him), as he has done nothing to deserve my trust in his competence, and you not understanding this very thing. So, this is what trust looks like. I trust MindWorX.

Since I have not messed with reverse engineering software, or any sort of specific security analysis, as I am mainly a high level programmer, I initially wanted source code, where I can literally see what's done and how (and whether it's possible to compile a replica of the file that is undeniably the same file). But after your harassment and spamming alerts and profile to no end, at some point I gave up on wanting anything to do with the whole thing. Sometimes I'd still want to see just what it was about, but then realize I don't actually give a shit, because it literally doesn't matter and I have nothing to do with it.

I doubt anyone really did reverse engineer my program. or even opened the file.... since if you did you would see all my hidden brain washing ^-^

@HappyTauren:
Did I mention before in public the name of the one who looked deep into it? No.
Did anyone from the Staff mention that he was on the case while I was myself investigating? No
Does his work alone explain everything? *No* (or at least not that I know of)

Fyi I also noticed his work here on THW, and I always reward his efforts to the highest I can.

rotfl, on VT someone voted 25 times for the JAR file to be harmful, on

Anyway, it still counts as one.

"I thought THW was better off without TLOC anyways" and "justice was second to my personal comfort" are very disturbing thoughts to me. Now out of curiosity, have you pushed yourself for MindWorX to be assigned to this case?

According to the posts I have read and shared, the reason he was banned was because he posted "malicious software" on THW (based on the logical correlation of two different sources of info), which the rumor later quickly referred to as being "viruses" or "trojan". It was proven very recently that he did not post any such things recently. Therefore, the ban was lifted. End of story.

Now, one must be judged for what he is being accused of, nothing less and nothing more. Also, one judges before condemning, and not the other way round. This is part of the brand of disgusting zealotry that I personally believe in. And that should be an important lesson for *you*.

Maybe this is the reason why you _felt_ harassed?

Now, since you seem to have something personal against @TheLordOfChaos201, I kindly invite you two to please discuss this in private. Hey, I do not want (at least?) one of you two to make an embarrassment of himself/herself in public any further...

Oh, and I am indeed a very pleasant person, thanks for noticing it.
And I also have a very good sense of humor, too.
