I understand the complications and complexities you have been through with that model. A big thanks to you and a warm sense of gratitude from me.

If I will decide on the release, I would rather more chose you as it must be yours, because you exerted time and effort on it. Are you certain you are not on the enthusiasm to release it as yours? Because to my side, I only deserve a tag on it and a small credit. But if you do not want to release under your title, I will shoulder it to release it by myself as you have said. :) (This is for just reclarification that the epic model you might be rejetcted if I release it as you worked on it, it may look stolen to the mods. Though, the model does not deserve to go down the sub bin or restriction category.)
