of course, it's rather easy with matrix eater, which pretty much replaces the old 'animation transfer' application, that has ( to my computer at least) been marked as 'malicious' long time ago.. dunno why..

Oh! Well, I hope I'm not being rude but I was wondering if I could ask for your assistance with transferring some animations? I've tried several times myself and to be honest I have no idea what I'm doing XD. But I figured I should at least try before asking for help.

well IRL work has kinda 'buried me down' '~' I'll try helping with words
Anyway, Matrix Eater has a 'simple import' option where you can just transfer anims from one model, to other. they only need to have similar skeletons, and to both be in mdl format

the 'normal' import is when you want to pick and choose or edit stuff while you're impoting. but that means that you need to know what you want done before trying

Just woke up, I live in the US. Anyways, what if the two models have different bones? What would I need to do then?

well, then you can try tinkering with the 'normal' anim transfer in matrix eater, but in a way that you know which bones would be a good substitute, (while using the 'motion from' option )

I have no idea what any of that means to be perfectly honest XD but I'll try and see what I can do. Hopefully I can figure this out
