SHADOWRIDGE EXPEDITION
  • Their Role
The Shadowridge Expedition is a branch of the Shadowridge Empire that is responsible for finding new planets for colonizing, getting resources and expanding the Shadowridge Empire

  • MILITARY
The Shadowridge Expedition relies heavily on Auxiliary units such as the Cadian Shocktroops, Dread Korps of Krieg, Armageddon Steel Legion, The Krog Janissaries and Vostrosya Warhawks. They also rely heavily of Mercenary Companies. The Shadowridge Expedition likes using massive bombardments, that is why they are the Shadowridge Empire's branch that includes the most and the strongest artillery pieces: such as the 90mm Super Basilisk Artillery, the 200mm Colossus Self-Propelled Mortar and the V25 Rocket Batteries. On the defensive they use trenches, heavy amounts of MG fire and volleying, as the roar of 300 laser guns would prove destructive and demoralizing. Their military forces do not hesitate to go into melee due to their extensive training and the locals most likely have primitive melee weapons that could hardly pierce shadowridge armor. Although fielding enormous armies, the expedition has quality supplies to arm their troops. Even the lowest ranks have full body armor, carapace armor, helmets, radio systems, 3 meals a day(if accessible) and quality firearms.

Fortresses are the basic structures of the Shadowridge Expedition. They serve as forward outposts and are deployed in frontiers where they are trying to settle. A Fortress is in contact with a planetary spaceship. It is armored and defended by Guards who fire from it's opening full time.

  • Has Guardsmen to attack along with flak guns that will appear if airspace is threatened
  • Able to Call in Reinforcements
  • Calls in Valkyire Dropships for expansion
  • Can only maintain 1 at every settlement

Infantry Commands are the structures that request infantry drops to bolster their campaigns. Like all Shadowridge Buildings, they are armed with Infantry on the lookout. The Infantry Command is connected with several other buildings via tunnels. They can be erected easily as they also serve as a foothold and a defensive structure along with a communication structure
  • Garrisoned
  • Can be constructed easily
  • Detects Invisible units
  • Lacks Anti-Air defences

They serve as main heavy defensive structures, as they are armed with 3 MGs, a battalion of guardsmen and an artillery weapon(hidden under the green cover on the bunker, if firing the green cover will be folded back and reveal a Medusa Seige Gun). After firing the recoil will force the gun back down and will be reloaded and ready to fire again. It is also connected with a tunnel system so if need be, can be immediately evacuated and blown up if the position gets overrun. Bulwrak Bunkers sometimes replace the Seige Gun with a Flak Cannon to deal with air threats.

  • Can switch between a Seige Gun or a Flak Cannon
  • Garisoned
  • Heavily Armored
  • Makes a Large Target

The Vehicle Assembly(hence it's name) assembles vehicles. They also can repair vehicles. The Vehicle Assembly also has several bunkers for defense. Vehicle Assemblies can assemble most basic vehicles although larger ones requires Gantries to be built.

The Tactical Hub has full communication with the father ship outside the atmosphere. It calls in reinforcements, relays orders and serves as tactical links between the command up in the atmosphere and the command on the ground.

  • Expensive

The Gantry is the deployment point for heavier and deadlier vehicles in the Shadowridge Arsenal. Without these, none of the most powerful weapons could be deployed. These however.. are very expensive to build but nonetheless are vital to the war effort. Like all Shadowridge Expedition structures, Gantries are garrisoned.

  • VERY Expensive
  • TAKES A FCKTON OF SPACE

Fel Citadels are advanced command structures where an Arch-warlock resides to oversee operations. They are rare and only appear in very important military bases or settlements. Major cities however has sometimes more than a dozen. The Fel Citadel is garrisoned not by ordinary guardsmen but by entire contingents of demons and magi-tech defences based on fel energies. They also allows the warping of demons.

  • Fel Defenses

Demonic engines are deployed from these structures. Unlike normal Vehicle Assemblies or Gantries, these Forges are not suitable for non-demons to work in there without going mad. Therefore, demons supervise the construction of vehicles while machines would do most of the labour. Like always, demons guards these structures at all time.

  • Fel Defenses

Warp Gates allows units to quickly transverse far away locations and be ready for action. Like always, garrisoned with demons.
