Introduction
Welcome to "Lords of War." This project is created to open up the lore and history of Draenor. It is based in the Pre- Dark Portal Time and showcases all the major Orcish clans, Ogre tribes, Arrakoas and Draenor itself. You get to play as one of many Orcish Clans and the races of Draenei, Arrakoa and Ogre and even Saberon. The Clans, as listed so, will all be placed in their capital locations. We plan to make these new maps feature as much of the clan's uniqueness as possible. Below are the featured clans, each with their own respective backgrounds and concepts. Each clans/races will be featured in it's own independent map, they will also have their own unique play style, so that no two maps feel the same.

Each map will feature three or four new custom races, depending on the zone, so that if you play multiplayer, you can fight against each other, and even then, lore-wise it would make sense. More on this will be shown below

Blackrock Clan

Bleeding Hollow Clan

Frostwolf Clan

Shadowmoon Clan

Shattered Hand Clan

Warsong Clan

Blackrock Clan
The Blackrock clan is a orc clan led by Blackhand himself. The Blackrock are a disciplined, organized, and militaristic clan who boast expert smiths and metalworkers. Well armored, they utilize brute strength and weaponry to destroy their foes. They make their home in Gorgrond, where they have forged many weapons and armor. They have constructed several monstrosities.

Gorgrond
The industrial development of the Blackrock clan has left the once-glistening oasis of Gorgrond a desolate, rocky badland. Its only remaining natural produce the steam that boils up from massive vents beneath the earth. In the heart of the Blackrock capital the fearsome orcish war machines are being built to be unleashed against anyone that stands against their might. The southern parts of the zone are significantly more lush and overgrown with exotic plantlife, reflecting the constant conflict between the forces of creation and destruction. It's the kind of place you avoid unless you have a death wish.

Bleeding Hollow Clan
The Bleeding Hollow clan is an orc clan led by Kilrogg Deadeye and makes their home in the jungles of Tanaan Peninsula. The clan is named after the hidden chamber in which the chieftains sacrifice an eye to receive a vision of their death. They are a fanatical and crude clan who fight with a berserker fury and gain the boon of prophecy from their elders, who sacrifice an eye to see into the future.

The Bleeding Hollow use blood in their spells, including a ritual to create dire orcs.

Tanaan Jungle
In primordial Tanaan, even the plants have teeth. Darkling fronds stab out at unlucky wanderers, or conceal canyons that plunge miles deep beneath the canopy - and these are far from the jungle’s worst dangers. The jungle is filled with the cunning Arrakoa and brutish Gorian Empire who will stop at nothing to keep their dominion over the land.

Frostwolf Clan
The Frostwolf Orcs, renowned for their prowess as one-on-one combatants, is a strong, close-knit clan whose bond with wolves only adds to their strength—though their numbers remain smaller than most clans. Though the clan spends much of their time in Frostfire Ridge, they migrate to Nagrand with the seasons.

Durotan leads the Frostwolves.

RegionDescription

Frostfire Ridge
Frostfire Ridge is a harsh land of ceaseless winter and volcanic peaks, where travelers encounter molten lava as often as painfully cold snow. Rock-hewn Bladespire Fortress, built to grandiose heights by the ogres who occupy its halls, is one of the few structures able to remain standing amidst this inhospitable wilderness. It’s the perfect target for the survivalist orcs of the Frostwolf clan. It is an area of extremes - snow and ice-covered glaciers in one area, active volcanoes spewing lava in another. The region is defined by the volcanic activity of late, so be wary of gigantic cliffs in otherwise normal plains.

Shadowmoon Clan
The Shadowmoon clan, led by their chieftain Ner'zhul, are orcs that make their home within Shadowmoon Valley. They are profoundly linked to the spiritual world and have many seers, astrologers, and speakers of the dead among their ranks. Their strength lies with their mastery of the dark arts.

The Shadowmoon have a history of astrology, and their shamanism is powered by the "language of the stars" in addition to that of the earth. For centuries the Shadowmoon have charted the stars, and from them interpreted omens.

Shadowmoon Valley
A lush valley engulfed in eternal night, the Pale Lady shines so brightly here that it even replaced the sun as the valley's primary light source during the day. Hidden under a shroud of perpetual night broken only by bright starlight, the lush, idyllic forests of Shadowmoon Valley are home to a majestic draenei tomb and sanctuary: Karabor. While many of Shadowmoon’s denizens study prophecy among Karabor’s ancient stone circles, plotters with darker ambitions lurk in the valley’s vast underground cave network, gazing greedily at the sacred temple. The orcish Shadowmoon clan, led by Ner'zhul also populates the region and seemingly have practiced their magic for some time, and are possibly the ones who erected the stone obelisks dotting some parts of the valley.

Shattered Hand Clan
The Shattered Hand clan is a orc clan led by the twisted Kargath Bladefist and makes their home among the Spires of Arak. Following the symbolic severing of one's hand from the chains binding him in order to earn freedom, as Kargath himself desperately demonstrated while he was chained under the Highmaul arena, these former slaves have been drawn together through a macabre joy of pain both self-inflicted and imposed upon others. It is through this pain that they believe they gather strength, and their reputation as relentless and dirty fighters is well-earned.

Spires of Arak
For travelers limited to two legs, Arak is an autumnal, swampy forest, framed in crooked trees that rest chin-level with giants. High above the trees towers a landscape rarely seen by outsiders: impossibly tall rock spires too steep to scale. The arakkoa gaze out from these treacherous perches, watching their land like incarnate gods and paying homage to the blessed sun by burning the “low races” alive. Their rule may soon be at an end, for the Shattered Hand have set a foothold in the spires, and they are determined to conquer the region.

Warsong Clan
The Warsong clan is a clan led by Grommash Hellscream and they make their home in the lush land of Nagrand. The mounted raiders of the Warsong favor speed and maneuverability in battle—they move quickly, strike swiftly, and are away before their enemies know what hit them. Their war cries inspire their allies and strike fear into all those who dare get in their way.

Nagrand
Nagrand — orcish for "Land of Winds" —is the homeland of the Warsong Clan and the meeting grounds of the orcish people, where the Kosh'harg celebrations were held twice every year. The clans would assemble at the base of their sacred mountain, Oshu'gun, and give thanks to the spirits. Seafaring ogres claim the south of windswept Nagrand, and they seek to dominate both the land and the orcs who dwell upon it. But more cryptic threats abound: a strange mist pours from the center of the plains, embodiments of nature stir around the Throne of the Elements, and the otherworldly crystals of Oshu’gun draw questers and fortune-seekers from all over Draenor.
