Edge(Redemption)
Overview Edge (pronounced Ejj) is a former Rogue Reaper, that possessed Crimson's Red Eye. He is one of the the most strongest swordsmaster, gunman, pilot and tactician. He was formerly Edgar Phoenixus, a General of Egilian and Marquess of the Fireheart clan, before he sold his soul to Death. Traits and PersonalityHis servitude reached its end after he overthrowed Death, where he betrayed the entity by using his own scythe and stabbed him. After that he became the Lord of the Afterlife and declared war with the Church. Sending the entire realm into chaos, he brought about almost the end of a world with Death's power. He became invincible and added Crimson's power, he became stronger than Death. He was defeated though, by the hands of his own apprentice and foster son, Crowley, his successor and legacy. Crowley was a Paladin of the Church, the strongest warrior of that world, his powers matched that of Edge and the two fought in the Afterlife with all they have. But in the midst of the battle, Crowley impaled Edge at his heart, using the Church's ancient and powerful sword. When Edge's heart was pierced, his sword - Baronedge, lost its invincibility, and Crowley breaks the embodiment of the entity's soul which was the blade. The end of the Overthrower himself, but he was still a Rogue Reaper, so his soul was sent to the darkest side of reality, the Void, to suffer endless death. In the Void, he is doomed and trapped in the dark hell. Because of his death as a Rogue Reaper, he has become a Blood Lord, although he would be Egilian if not for the Blood Curse. He has lost everything he had, his absorbed powers, his sword Baronedge including also what it had eaten and absorbed, his own realm and much of the knowledge and artifacts he gathered through millenias. Edge is a Reaper that seeks pleasure and discovery. He loves to collect knowledge of the world he is at, and likes to make deals with souls he takes, freeing them just for something he needs, earning him the title of the Worst Reaper. But he always do his job correctly, and guarantees his deals. He's also mysterious and sometimes enigmatic, stalking someone he deems worthy and leaves little clue of his trails. Edge talks to himself because he has the Blood Curse stuck in him for eternity, he possesses Crimson's nature, high tempered and powerful, although he always keeps Crimson in check and has able to control much of his curse, making them a little friendly. AppearanceFormerly, Edge was a loyal and serious person, that protects somebody he loves, righteous and honorable, coming from his days as General Edgar Phoenixus. Now he has become a rogue that does something as he likes. Currently in the Void, Edge hasn't changed much. Even though he was defeated and slain by his own raised foster son, he is still proud of what he had done. Though little mad at thoughts, Edge has a certain loyalty to old comrades, such as those of the Abaddon's Fury. Still, trusting him completely would be foolish, Death got betrayed by the Edge without the latter realizing he was planning it. Edge seemed like to be gathering powers again, and rebuilding his strength, and he would be very interested at world and realm teleportation magic.
Edge was once the Egilian Marquess of Fireheart and General Edgar Phoenixus. When Egilian was in a civil war with EvoTech(Egilian Revolutionary Technologies), his forces was caught in a suprise on Northwind Bay, he barely survives that time and reached Vangarde only to be conquered by EvoTech Chief Ezekiel. He makes his last stand at the very end of Eagle's Rock, where he kept Ezekiel from reaching his three daughters that then escaped toward Lancelin. He was stabbed, slowly dying as he saw his daughters leaving, before he fell, he shot his last bullet towards Ezekiel's right eye. After his death, his soul met with Death himself, for every General of Egilian has a limited single deal for Death. He trades his soul into service with Death, in return Death gives his son Edward the mighty Easturil to retake and restore Egilian from Ezekiel. For years and years until the modern day of Vestroya, the cataclysmic event took place and Egilian did not survive. This stroke Edge with so much suffering, that he almost lost his sanity, until he pledges to himself, "To keep watch." For centuries, Edge worked with Death, claiming souls and deals, business in the afterlife. He meets with Marie Onyxus, his very best friend Saidan's youngest great granddaughter. She possessed Blood Lady Scarlet's Red Eye and also shared the same fate as Edge, only she meets Death using a powerful object before she died. The two got to work together until they got close, it was discovered that Marie fell in love with him. Edge somehow keeps his promise to his formerly love, and ended up telling Marie what is needed to know. Marie hated Edge for that time, but seemingly did not want to let Edge go from her heart. As time passed, Edge finally got himself released from Death's service and he became a free-willed Reaper that will do business in the Realm of Reapers. He's current business with Death enabled him to use Deidiaccus and the Soul Crucible to collect souls in his target planet, Jupiter. After years of independence, Edge's service ended when he stabbed Death with his own scythe. He took Death's powers and became the Lord of the Afterlife, the new Death. Adding Crimson's powers, Edge was to be reckoned with and called himself The Overthrower. He declared war with the Church, a world order of the Holy One, when they intervened at a civil war in the Realm of the Reapers. Edge sent the greatest legion of the Afterlife and the Blood Army at the living world, and almost destroyed it when he entered. The Church sent a counterattack, right at the pinnacle of the Realm of the Reapers, Edge's capital. The one leading the counteroffensive was Edge's raised foster son, Crowley, his also apprentice, successor and legacy of his powers which he would later pass on. Crowley was the strongest warrior of that world, being a Paladin of the Church, he wields their order's strongest weapon called Messiah. He impaled Edge right through the heart, losing the invincibility of his blade Baronedge, the latter breaks the blade and destroying Edge. Actually, Edge was a false Death, being a Rogue Reaper, his soul was sent to the Void to face endless death instead of disappearing forever if not, then reincarnated. With great cost, he lost all of his powers, magics, blades, and his own realm. Except for the Blood Curse, he became a Blood Lord, having Crimson's power, he can still absorb other organisms including their powers. Now he roams the Void, when he dies, he returns to the area where he spawned, feeling the pain of death and suffering forever - ...maybe. Having Crimson's powers, he actually defied respawning at the place he first spawned. Though still feeling pain, he managed to use his heart as an altar to where he can respawn again. Not only that, he is able to make weapons using his own flesh and then hardens it, Implasmarize, giving a power he absorbed or taken into that weapon.
