The reason why this model was rated as useful / simple is one or multiple of the following:
Value to the community:
- Too simple of an edit (a single new armor or weapon piece was added without changing the way the model looks)
- Could be useful for a specific map, but is generally too simple to get "Approved" rating (someone might just need a different weapon on a character, but it's not enough, i.e. it is "useful / simple")
Aesthetical:
- Texture appeal (flat recolour with visible parts of original texture)
- Mismatching colors (too many different color elements such as bronze, silver and golden borders on armor with no reason for them all to be on one model, could possibly look decent on a scavenger of sorts)
- Mismatching elements (example: rugged base model with pristine elven shoulder pads and rough human armor, does not fit)
Technical:
- Textures are not properly edited or saved (new logo on cloth, yet normals are old so they overlap)
While the rating may appear harsh, it still means that the model has some use, but less than some others. Additionally there is always potential to improve some of the issues and the resource is not removed.
