Overview
Several large groups of rebels and refugees which fled to the northlands of Alastorn after their respective setbacks, hoping to pass on the glories of their fallen empires and found a new colony for themselves. Rumors also speak of their aspirations to reclaim their homelands one day.
The Whampoan Reich on Alastorn is endowed with advanced technologies and powerful magiks brought over from their world of origin. The Whampoans are famous for their unmatched expertise in mechanics, swiftness and flexibility. Most of their war machines can easily flash their way through mountains and waters too at an incredible speed, granting a big advantage for the Whampoans in battles.

The Kingdom of Malaysia employs fast, accurate, powerful assaults to quickly cripple their foes.
Along with Taiwan, Malaysia is one of the two leading states of Whampoa. Malaysia, with its capital in Klungsberg and later in Kwangchow, has greatly molded the history of Whampoa together with its frenemy Taiwan.
Often exposed to numerous dangers throughout history, the Malaysians have raised an exceptionally well-organized and effective army to better defend themselves and to assert their interests against great powers. Successive fightings against the mighty Yong Dynasty throughout the centuries have cultivated their war doctrine of speed and surprise.
Deployment of troops and war machines through paradrops is a habitual tactic of the Malaysians, in order to swiftly bolster an area or surprise an unwary foe. The Malaysians also enjoy quick raids on their foes with their blindingly fast aircraft, well trained shock troopers, amphibious assault tanks and powerful battlemages.
Apart from that, the Malaysian battlemages are also masters on the arts of arcane magik, owing to ancient Revital Malaysian legends dating back to hundreds of years ago.

Trivia
- The Whampoan Language is a fictional constructed language heavily based on Malay and Indonesian, with heavy German influences and slight Cantonese influences.
- Oddly enough, the Whampoan Reich and the Empire of Hakyiu, despite being bitter foes against each other, use the same calendar.
- This is because the Whampoan Reich and the Empire of Hakyiu share a common legacy back then on Terra, when the Obsidian Kongsi, the Kongsi that dominates the Empire of Hakyiu, used to be a part of the Barisan Revitae together with the proto-Whampoan Malaysians who then formed the basis for the Whampoan Reich later.
- The calendar used by both the Whampoan Reich and the Empire of Hakyiu is the Revival Calendar or Anno Revitae. The Year 1 in the Anno Revitae refers to the founding of the First Republic of China in 1912 A.D., after the Wuchang Uprising.
- The Whampoan Reich is planned to be featured in The Directive Saga -- the story series that @Directive255 is working on.
