I am not quite sure yet about the decision of putting purple crystals in the snowy regions. I have to put lights sources but I can't imagine any objects that fit with it at the moment (or maybe the crystrals are already good? Idk).
@Strydhaizer it's OK for me. But, you have to ask yourself, what kind of minerals, rocks and stuff can be found in such a place so that they will be purple or any colour.
It's just for aesthetic, it's white so I have to put something blue-ish/purple, if the environment green then I'd put yellow, you know, there should be something that actually stand out to the environment. If I put white to a white area that looks boring.
I already did that glowy eye thing in my previous map I made back in 2014. By the way I can't find any high quality fossils and mount-rushmore-head-like models around.
