Yes, that's the point why i post my WIPs. You can replicate it easier when you use the terraining map i use. The skies and the objects are already set up, you just have to build it. You can also try replicating something from a concept art from Artstation or DeviantArt, or build something from your imagination.
It's at my signature, i forgot to say (You can download all of it if you want, even the old versions should still work, as far as i know the older terraining maps i used already have sky presets, also made by me). It's almost like the UTM but models are handpicked by me (I never picked ripped models from other games, instead i picked the ones that is originally made by the community). You will learn the much more about terraining at the tutorials provided/pinned at the terrain board.
@Strydhaizer Hot damn this terrain map is solid. You are an artist my friend. and the terrain board is very useful I must say, I'm just trying to ditch the traditional WC3 style terrain, and move onto the style you and the other big contenders have, they're just absolutely breathtaking, the big open worlds with beautiful rolling hills and sunsets/starry skies with the moon, and it's mindblowing these we're made with the 15 year old game and map editor I used to tinker with in middle school.
Edit: I'm not 100% sure how to set up the custom skys and everything but I'll dig around in the tutorials for a bit, or if you wouldn't mind terribly just giving me a few pointers and tricks as to how to get started making more vastand realistic terrain I'd be so grateful
Mine is not completely different from the tutorials though, but when you're using my map first select Cameras from the palette, select the first camera (001). Now don't move the camera and slowly select Units palette, go to Human | Custom Units then place the Skybox near the camera, now place any skies you want. You can change thr atmosphere color by changing the fog color, i recommend lighter colors (150+) when you intend to make it a noon terrain, or darker colors (150-), don't make it too bright though. The rest will be construction and placing random objects that seem fit.
