70,000 civilians spread out over 150 islands is too big. Yes that is too big for a army of only 20,000. And not only that but apparently we have not been organized in one area for like 12 years. And not only that but most empires are in the 100,000s. And we keep losing people by the second. Plus we lose alot of them.

Most armies? Which ones O.O .. the Protectorate warriors + civilians + subfactions are about 30.000 now :/

24,000 civilians. Which is still small. Damn European history their numbers were fucked up.
And plus most of the Brotherhood members die before they can reach the rank of Knight.

When counting your people, add the civilians to the number. That makes it easier
