Not bad, the paths are indeed a bit repetitive. Now that you mention it the two towns look great. I think that some rock spires (the sunken ruins ones) added to the shore would add more detail to this region.
 
Hmmm, normally I would but they're just too small the beaches, I think I'll leave the area as it is for now. Though I might come back to it later once more of the other places are finished.
 
You know for a more murky and swamp-ish look you could add some sea weeds (sunken ruins set)and cattails in small amount on the water.
 
Oh yeah, I've deleted all the shrubs/doodads I added here until after so I know how much I can add rather than have to remove some later. Thanks for the advice though, hadn't considered the Sunken Ruins tileset.
