After the three Elven faction, next on my list are the three Human factions - Silverguard, Ebonguard, and the Northern Kingdoms
And after that... Well I should better start working on the campaign so I could create an actual thread instead of just posting pictures in the media section
@ZethHolyblade I'm glad to hear that!
The purpose of having so many races/factions is to fulfil more player fantasy, so everyone could find their thing. Also, gameplay diversity is always a plus
Sure! I'm always open to any kind of suggestions (As long as they make sense)
The word "heaven" was already used for a couple of abilities, so I decided it would be ok to use that word for a unit. But I do like "Gryphon Knight", it puts him above all other gryphon Riders of the other races
The name mimics the "Black Knight" hero from the other faction, Ebonguard. Both of these factions, as well as their leaders, are closely related to each other and were serving the same crown in the past, so it makes sense for them to mirror each other every now and then
However, Champion sounds much better and it describes the hero perfectly
"Argent Knight" was inspired by a medieval military system, where every king had his own dukes, every duke had their own knights, and every knight had their own company of men who formed the entirety of the king's army. Argent Knights fulfil a similar role here, both gameplay- and lore-wise. They are also supposed to have Hero Glow, but I forgot to add it for this picture
Argent Priestess was initially called "High Priestess", but I changed it to match the theme and hierarchy of the faction
As for the Inquisitor, those are too complicated. I like to keep things simple when I can
@deepstrasz The undead have a similar issue with Lich and Archlich
Oh well, I still think both of these models fit in their roles. Heroes will also be more distinguishable from non-heroic units in game, so confusion is not an issue here
@ZethHolyblade I've actually never thought about it
There are some passive abilities which counter each other, like Armored and Armor Breaker, Cavalry and Spearwielder/Halberdier/Horse Feller, or Beasts and Beast Slayers, etc
However, there's no such thing as "Mutual Hatred" yet
I think it can't do more harm than good, so it's safe to add it... But what would be the purpose of it?
