Cuz they aren't ones generating spell. They are just at the moment keeping stable since Old God sensed that chaos is covering planet so he is trying to break out.

Well if you saw my pic you would see that all his minions were killed ad he was imprisoned alone(and by the way surrounded by stone walls just in case, but you didnt know that) and even if they were, they would be killed pretty soon by the Starseekers, I mean come on, what kind of idiot would imprison an Old God together with his minions! And I know what you will ask and I'll answer, Titans are idiots, everybody knows that.

They can be killed but the planet suffers too since old god is attached to it.
