Lizardmen Melee Race

I somewhat fail to see how the reptilians would be so different from naga when naga definitely include mammal-fish and reptile-fish hybrids and even just reptiles.

The naga love the sea and can live on the surface.
The reptilian love the swamps, the marsh, the deltas and wetlands, and even on deserts the love.
In my lore, they are eternally clashing for domination of the surface world and the reptilians want even the ocean world.
