There was a botnuke specifically on dungeoneering bots and thus on frost dragon bots too, but with EoC they're somewhat easier to kill than before, so I'd imagine so. ;p
Their damage-reflect special can be more dangerous now though, since people hit so fast and so high numbers now.
well yeah, the damage reflection makes player have to focus too much. That's why I don't really like coming to their place and farm their bones like my friends do. You know, I don't like stress coming from a game (not applied for quest battle, since they only happen once)
Uh, doesn't that apply to pretty much all of the endgame bosses then? ;p And that includes monsters that most people still classify as boss monsters, like TDs, DKs, Glacors etc.
And well, quest bosses can stress you out too, especially when (almost without exception) all of the quest bosses must be solo'd. So bosses like Nomad pre-EoC, Dream Mentor bosses pre-EoC, Pest Queen after EoC, RfD bosses after EoC and TokHaar-Hok all were and some of them still are a pain in the ***. ;p
Yeah it's applied to almost all boss monster... Well to be honest I don't do hard combat much the only "difficult" monster I kill is Mithril Dragon (Mithril dragon don't eventually require focusing so it's not a big deal )
Quest battles are different; They are one-time achievement so it's not boring; Yeah it's painful to win them but the feeling of achievement is so great
Yeah, mithril dragons were harder before EoC. Now, they're so, so easy. I use armadyl bstaff and, using abilities and super antifires, I don't even need any armor with me. They never hit anything and I kill them in ~3 hits which is about 3 seconds in total. Yet for some reason, dbones have stayed pricy and lately just went higher and higher (botnuke possibly).
Btw, I don't know if you've tried it/if you like doing it, but from time to time, I like to visit the Dominion Tower to re-challenge some of the quest bosses, most notably Nomad. He's so much more fun to battle now that there isn't constant panicing about a single hit of him taking away a third of your LP at once.
yeah mith dragons used to be very fun to fight especially because of the decent rate of dropping clues and effigies
About the dominion tower... Yeah I've heard of that many times, but it was released right after my membership ran out so I could never try it
