Its really complicated thing. Although you can reach it through dreams doesn't mean you will and some usually think it is bad idea since rules there are different from real world.

Well he knows certain parts but will he help well only he knows.

Uh you can't get rid of nightmares. Besides your mind can bring to life your nightmares there. Its rather weird place.
