I'm going to defragment first and chkdsk my drive before I get the update somehow or get Reforged

If it's Warcraft III 1.30 or later, I'll buy it.
Reforged, nah, it's gross, I'm deciding not to switch to it. Stick to Classic.

You can switch to Classic graphics. I do it and it works.

I could purchase Reforged someday, soon, I would prepare purchasing AoE 4 or Iron Harvest first before Reforged. As long as it has negative feedbacks and bugs, might stay up to 1.3's for awhile
