Hive Journey X - The suckiest most idiotic campaign in existance; Campaign by Underachiver

This Campaign was made simply to piss me off I'm sure of it.

First Impression

As I start the game my computer went down. I had to get a new PC because something killed my system.

When I got my new PC I started the game again. This time it loaded. Like forever. The filesize was quite huge so I'm expecting a huge and deep game.

The first thing I notice is that the Hero is a Footmen and he got no skills. His damage is 1 and he is invulnerable. The Quest tells me what to do. "Kill the Dragon". The Dragon got 20000 Lifepoints but doesn't regenerate. He also runs away as I strike him because I'm Invulnerable. I do 1 Damage. This first mission drags on for quite a while.

The map is huge, a 200x200 Landscape with no Terrain.

The next day I had the Dragon down to 1000 hitpoints and finished him. Quest-Update. "Kill the second Dragon". I have to get a new PC because I took this one and threw it out of the window.

This new dragon got 50.000 life points and is called "Holy Grail". Original.

Several days later the first mission of the Campaign is over.

A cutscene occurs. It tells about how the dragon was jealos of his brother and therefor bought a new car. I don't get it either. Also ThE DiAlOg is DiSplaYed liKe DiS. It is a 3 line dialog with 20 mistakes.

I play on and hate my life and this game made me hate Warcraft for all eternity.

The next Chapter is not quite so long. You're the same footmen and your mission is "Kill the Children". They all got 1 hitpoint, there are 1000 of them (There actually is a counter) and the map is 252x252..

After I murdered them all The next mission began.

Gameplay

All you do in this game is to complete simple and pointless tasks that drag on forever one way or another.

In one mission I had to just cross a bridge that went all the way up, then slightly to the right than down again, right, up again, of course on a huge map.

You never get allies and if you do they're meant to turn against you, which would be intimidating, except for the fact that you're invulnerable and even if you weren't, your Lifepoints are at 99.000.

There is also a defend level, where there are enemies all around you on the map and you have to hold your position for 1 hour. You are on an Island in the middle unreachable. And still invulnerable.

The Dungeon Level is also horrendous. All you do is answer questions like "What is Justin Biebers favorite dish". This wouldn't be too hard if the answers weren't coded with misspelling. Then a door opens and another question occurs. The last question is "Who is the most awesome person in the world". The answer is a this-one-time-not-misspelled version of the Developers Name.

Story

It seems that there is a different story in each chapter and not a single line makes any sense in coherence.

The cutscenes are always just units standing around doing nothing on a plane field with dialog which takes forever to fade to the next part.

Music and Sounds

The developer actually included music. It's always the same and it is a 5 second midi-loop. Sounds like a very annoying cellphone.

When you click your character he says "Fuck you". If you click multiple times he repeats it in a different voice. If you send him anywhere he says "Fuck it".

Graphics and Terrain

The little terrain there is consists of trees standing all over the place, not providing any wall and of course always the same trees. It looks like someone just closed their eyes and clicked everywhere.

Your Footmen was actually changed to a naked skin. Actually everyone in this campaign is naked. And the skins themselves are drawn so bad, that they almost look like very bad lego-people.

How you fail at this so bad that the original draenai look more appealing I don't know.

Bugs

Oh, did I mention that this campaign is full of bugs?
Not only seem the different maps coded for different update-versions but there are occasions where you just fall through the flat ground and are trapped.

Also the original skins of the units and buildings that there are pop up without rime or reason. The Inventory doesn't work, anything you put in there just appears on the ground again.

No suggestions, just go and play on the railroad, dear developer

Final Verdict: -1/5
