Why does my hero attack when casting spell?

So, I made a few heroes based off the blood mage human hero and I got them all to do melee attacks but some of them do the blood mage normal projectile attack to the point that they cast a custom spell on.

How can I get rid of this pre-spell attack animation?

Remove the ability "Sphere" from those units.

Yes, it's the "Sphere" ability which makes that the orb flying to target unit/location
